As the changes take place in our mind, body, spirit, our earthly home, the ether around the planet,…… many more beings will begin arriving to see the great show.

Here we go!

The dark ones, the cabal,…. or some of you may know them as the Illuminati, are slowly but surely losing their control. The grip that they held upon the planet, which crushed both spirit and life,… is loosening,… and they will surely be brought to justice. A flurry of resignations will continue to be seen, along with arrests of those who are guilty of crimes against the people of Earth.

Heaven has ordered increased participation from those who are currently assisting us,... including the Elohim and the sacred Seraphim. Many ascended Masters have their energies here with us now.

Let me say that again. The great masters (of whom many of the worlds religions respect and follow) who have walked in the physical upon our reality, and spent their existence teaching peace, love, truth, compassion, ARE ON THE PLANET NOW!

Our planet is growing moving and changing, on every level,….. and we are moving from a state of darkness and low heavy vibratory energy,… into one of light.

Very soon, our financial and political systems are going to alter greatly. As the cloaks of disguise fall down, people are aghast by the truth that is being shown to them and worldwide people are demanding change.

High on the agenda for humankind, is to move our race back into full consciousness.

The lies and separation that you have been taught, will finally be set straight.

The military will be working with police to conduct mass arrests around the world. The arrests are already happening against the black alliance, who were major players upon the world stage. The ever changing 'NOW'....has been effected by the flurry of activity upon our planet. Humans have responded enmass, and are doing the the work of positive, emotional focused attention, for the harmonic energies to come to our earthly home. (This is what enabled the speedy assistance of the higher vibratory realm to work so quickly. See,....I have told you time and again how important you are in this unfolding,....and now you are seeing results! Please keep up the super fantastic focus work!)


Caretaker governments are to be set up, and the prosperity that was ill-gotten by the few, is to be returned to the people of the world. Individual sovereign rights that have been sneakily signed away, are to be reinstated,... along with debt forgiveness,.. and a new fair, sound financial system.

In the second week, of the interim governments being put into place,... full disclosure of your space family is to be made to the lineage of earth. 


Our cycle of duality,…. is about to end. We are receiving so much in the way of assistance, from beings in the higher vibratory realm. An exceedingly vast amount of work is being done, where your physical eyes cannot see, to pave the way for the new.

Our consciousness is growing every day. It will continue to raise higher and higher as the coming weeks and months pass by. Our space family,…. the ones who mean our most high spiritually, will be working with us, to assist humanity into becoming galactic beings. We are on the edge of such great change,…. it’s hard to put into words.

Since dropping down from the higher dimensions,… we have created a reality that is not true to our nature. Not one spirit who has walked upon Mother Earth, was ever forced to come down to this level. It may be hard for you to understand, but you volunteered for this mission. You did this, because of the fantastic amount of learning that can be accomplished in a relatively short period of time. No matter how far you strayed from the divine path of light, your spirit knew that the time would come, when you would be called back into alignment


The dark ones have manipulated and distorted many of the worlds religions. In with the truths of divine light, which were to be taught to the people of the world,…qualities such as,…. peace, love, compassion, truth, freedom, equality, harmony, patience, integrity,…. they (the black alliance) have manipulated in their words of falsehoods.

Meant to create separation, the dark ones have interwoven into the Golden Truth,….ego, a hierarchy of classifications, and blame.

A complete recasting of our history will be told. Humans are to know the truth of who they are and where they come from. The concepts of the golden path, that you are to understand, will be re-taught,…… minus the innuendos, falsehoods, condemnations, and in-equal separation that were previously and purposely inserted by the dark.

People are to know that Mother Earth is indeed a living being. Our relationship with her must adjust and change to become one of respect. 

That time is now.  

Nothing will be allowed to stop the ascension, for those who are ready.

It has been divinely ordered.

Those who are sensitive, can already feel the changes begin. Feelings of love, are welling up within you,…and you feel a connectedness to the Family of Earth. The great, deep dreaded feelings of fear,… are washing away from you,…as the true understanding of your eternal spirit, takes hold.

The old paradigm is falling hence. It is being replaced by the NEW, which we are all creating together.

 It is already happening.

 As people continue to do their positive meditative focus,… for the earth they WANT to see,… it is being created in the ether. The Star Seeds,….are anchoring this new energy into their hearts, and sending it down into the crystal heart of Mother Earth.

Star Seeds, play an important role, as they hold this transformative energy, like living batteries for our planet.

Love,… the most powerful of all energies,…. is in the process of coming at you from every direction. Accept and absorb these beautiful energies into your being.

The more people who come together while absorbing and projecting the energies of love,….the more power we have…and as it grows, we can literally change our reality in a flash.

The time is now to know your power. You are a being of light,… and you must start to see yourself,… in your minds eye as a mighty beacon of light. As you see yourself this way, your light will reach out to others,….. and you will begin attracting,….. other beings who are vibrating at a higher rate. This in turn helps the entire vibratory field of the whole planet.

Try your best,.. despite what you see unfolding around you, to remain positive and filled with hope for our future.

A soul that is not ready for the higher vibrations, can not force it’s way into this realm. Each spirit is moving at its own tempo,… and they cannot move into a higher realm, if they are not in harmony with that vibration. Every being on Mother Earth has equal opportunity to hear and learn this information, and ready themselves, if they so choose for a transition. If someone, who is close to you,…chooses not to raise their vibratory field into one of love,… try to respect their decision, as it is made of their own free will.

A love connection, is never truly broken,… and anyone who you love or have loved,…. can always be seen again. Even in death, a loved one can be very near to you, even though you cannot see them with your earthly eyes.

Celebrations of delight and blissfulness are right around the corner. Even though there is much to look forward to,…. we still have arduous times to get through. 
  
The evil ones who are constantly seeking more control,… and never-ending war, are being closely monitored by the multifarious races of the higher vibratory field. Their war efforts, have been stemmed many times, as they have continued plots to keep the masses embroiled in self-sacrifice.

Repetitive attempts to start a nuclear war have been flat-out stopped by the beings of the higher vibratory realm. Entire aerial fleets have been taken out of the air,…. their pilots removed for retraining,…. and their heavily armed jets stanched from initiating a world war. Spy planes have been lifted out of the air and set down.

The family of Earth is being given great assistance,…. as the underground tunnel system between Washington DC and Colorado,…have been rendered inoperable. What many thought was an earthquake on the East Coast quickly followed by a quake in the Denver area, … was actually a blast created for the sole purpose of destroying the tunnel system used by the black alliance and the negative forces they have aligned themselves with. If you refer to the seismic graphs of the event, you will quickly see they do not match those of a natural earthquake,...however the vibrations match up with recorded explosions.

The evil ones will not be allowed to destroy humanity. They have many nefarious plans, and they continue at every turn.

Those who have set themselves up to be entrusted by humanity,… have in fact been working against the people of the world behind the curtain.   



Certain Earth changes,… will NOT be stopped,…as they are considered necessary, in the cleansing that must take place. Specific areas of the earth will be more prone to these great modifications.

　

As the ascension process unfolds,…. the alters will continue around the globe. Mother Earth has been reaching outside of herself,… and speaking directly with the Creator. You may have been one of the many on the planet who is hearing the earth groans,...rumbles,...and bursts, as the physical changes are perceived on the surface.

The planet has moved nearly 2. 0 degrees so far. This is in direct result of energies that are coming through our central sun, and arriving from our galactic core.

The additional energy that is flowing towards us, is putting additional pressure on our grid. This same energy that is arriving towards our planet, is also affecting all the other water worlds. Everything is moving towards a great changing element.

This shift is a moment in time when our own solar system lines up with the rest of the galaxy. This creates an allowance to alter the fundamental coil shape of the galaxy.

It then permits our galaxies reality grids to come into a cadence type of alignment with the 350,000 other galaxies (give or take a handful, giggle.) that are from this particular section of physicality. (You can't begin to imagine how infinite the cosmos actually is!)



Mother Earth who nurtures all upon her body,…. feels confident, that the majority of life upon her is ready for the next phase. A great call has gone out, to all systems of creation.

The next aspect in Earth’s ascension is being greatly anticipated by the many races who are on their way to our planet now.

Also on the agenda in the coming months, is our Agarthan cousins. One of the doorways that leads to inner Earth,…. is located in the deepest tunnel system. As this information about the Agarthan inhabitants is discussed in public, it sets the stage for further disclosure.

The Agarthans will be working closely with humankind to set up a new society. This race grasps and understands us well, as many have been on the surface of the planet and working with humankind for the past 13 millennia. Information about who they are is kept quiet, however you may have sat down at a restaurant and sat across the aisle from one of your Agarthan family members, and not even known it. After new technologies are introduced it will be important to address the climate, as it is rapidly changing our planet. The healing of Gaia, will require worldwide open interaction with the races of the higher vibratory realm.

Another mystery spiral made a dramatic show over the nighttime sky in the Middle East.

This spectacle took place on Thursday night, June 7, 2012.

The people were understandably concerned over what they were witnessing as a flurry of reports were called into police stations, describing in detail what took place.

Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Jordan, and numerous other countries documented this occurrence.

The Israeli defense forces stated, “ They were unaware of any military operations in the area.”

Many of you reading this have already awakened to what is occurring in our world.

It begins now

The world is going to change greatly and it will be according to our hearts generated desire.

The dark alliance who have lived their lives in service to self and have been in control of humanity for centuries have slowly and methodically taken over all planes of society. Their actions have been appalling, disgusting, and shocking to those who are just finding out about their horrors. They have behaved as if they will never suffer an accountability and place themselves above the laws of the land.

This alliance uses central banking as a way to control their yes-men and puppets. Their revelations for a world they desire get handed down to psychopaths who act without compassion upon the world’s populace.

The military, mainstream media, big business, and education are all under their dictate.

With the money machine printing out unlimited amounts of currency, they have been able to subjugate much of the world’s populace.

Integrity is NOT a part of their character. In fact they pilfer, create deceptions, practice dishonesty with those around them, blackmail, manipulate, harass, browbeat, plot, deny absolute truths, and create false friendships for the sole purpose of controlling a certain outcome.

As the waves of information pour over you,..... you are first overwhelmed, then you are numbed by the enormity,.... then you then sit frozen in shock as you realize the veracity of it all.

The systems in place around you have all been integrated to keep your spirit from knowing who you truly are,… to make you feel terrified,…..and overwhelmingly helpless.

You see keeping humans in fear, creates a low vibratory realm and this is what evil needs to survive in. By creating nonstop war, murder, needless death, created disease, fake events,….. the dark ones are manipulating the populace into lowering the earth’s vibration. This creates a comfy habitat for the evil that they serve.

I know many thoughts are running through your head as you learn these truths. Like,…. how can this happen? What about my family? What can we do?

How can evil be so large, grid like, and encompassing?

As your mind absorbs all it can handle, the numbness wears off and is replaced by anger as you think about your friends and family who have sacrificed their very lives because of stage deceptions.

Always at ready are the patriotic songs, flag-waving, and pageantry that brainwash the masses into self-sacrifice. If people truly knew who was behind these theaters of blood,…. there wouldn’t be one person in line around the world to participate in any war.

You probably wish at this point to go back to sleep. That it’s better that you not know. You may even think it would be easier not to know,…. However that’s not correct. It is very important for you to be awake and aware,….. for the old must dismantle for the new to begin.

Liberty and success belongs to your spirit and always has,……for as a being of light,…… it is LOVE,…. and only love,…. that completes our nature.

You are given a Divine promise,….you are being led to information which takes you behind the veil of the surface world,….so that you may see with clearness,… the holy purpose for which your life was originated for. YOU are part of a great transformation, …..as is the world.

A new sphere is to be obtained through the ascension of the planet. This will be entirely a new dimension.

We are within the range,.. of the nine dimensions.

The recipe for this unfolding involves our supreme dominion of who we are, standing strong in our divine birthright. Knowing this information about yourself will commence important and specific principles,…..which in turn creates the arrival of the NEW.

The dark ones practice control, division, fear, and absolute evil upon the populace. Mind games are continually practiced to guide the masses into acts which satisfy the lower vibratory realm.

We are not of this world, those who seek love, peace and light. As the awakened,…you understand that you are free, and an important co creator in our reality. You KNOW you are directly connected to all that is.

The ones of the higher vibratory realm, the teachers of light, and the Angels are guiding you as you walk upon the lighted path, in this important timeline.

The changes that are coming, will rain down with amplitude on every plane, UNTIL the world comes together and RISES UP.

The world will reorganize following the thoughts and desires of the family of Earth.

What Is A Blessing?

You’ve heard of the phrase,....... ‘What you project out, will be returned to you.’ It is following one of the laws of the universe, called…. ‘The Law Of Attraction.’

Every concentrated and emotional thought that you have, and every action that you take in life, goes out into the universal mind. The universal mind, is in the ether all around us, bathing us all in the collective.

Your thoughts and actions have an effect upon the whole planet.. This is what God calls, ‘The Ripple Effect.’

When we use our potent energy to call forth light and love into our world, it makes our planet a little brighter for the total sum of life.

The more people who understand this simple act, can in fact change the vibratory field, thus putting us all into a higher vibration.

Light always disburses darkness.

To bless means to wish from the deepest part of our being with the emotion generated in our heart, without stipulations,…… it is simple, sincere, and filled with love.

To bless,..... is to avow the ubiquitous beauty that is all around you. Wrapping you in the highest of the universal vibrations. A blessing is something you lovingly immerse someone in, that they cannot see with their eyes, but should feel with their hearts. It is the greatest of spiritual gifts.

　

　

I know many of you, are joining with the people of the world and doing your positive focused intentions for our planet. It has never been more important than it is now. Different groups, have set up their own specific times, for divergent focused endeavors. Many light workers, are meeting at 7 AM, 7 PM, 1 AM, 1 PM Eastern standard Time. (The meetings take place in the ether all around you. Since you are a multidimensional being, the moment you close your eyes and go into that place of quiet, your spirit can soar. This is where you will join up with others, in the omnipresent mind. Always make sure to ground yourself, by imagining a line wrapping around you and going straight to the Crystal heart of Mother Earth.) If you add in the beautiful art of giving out blessings during your day, it will help you greatly in learning how to control your thoughts. Giving blessings along with your powerful meditations is magnificent spiritual work for our earthly home.

For the person who is focused on self-service, and the never-ending obsession with selfishness and greed,…… the opportunity you afford them by sending them your blessing,……. may return them to the lighted path,…….. the WAY.

A blessing of peace, may only take you but a moment, but it can completely calm the atmosphere around the person who is immersed in feelings of fear.

You will find that you receive a warm feeling of unity as you send out your blessings to those in need.

By sending out these priceless gifts, you can greatly enhance the beauty, life, and growth of all Kingdoms. The majestic Animal Kingdom, the vibrant Plant and Nature Kingdoms, and Humankind can all respond to and feel your generous benevolence. Even the very minerals of the earth can react to your thoughts sent with love.

By working daily on projecting out blessings,…. your awareness grows greatly. You become more centered, as you attract the energies of love to yourself.

In every moment that we are alive, is infinite opportunities to send and receive blessings,….and this is a great gift. We have in this life the ability to create change with our heartfelt emotions and thoughts. You have so many things in your life to be grateful for,…… whoever you are. Stop just for this moment,……. and consider what you have been given in life,…………

( Take this brief instant and let the feelings of gratitude wash over you. Let the feeling of hope for what you may create today,….. fill your being. For you have within YOU, the ability to change our world.)

The entirety of the universe opens up to you,…… when you are in a space of thankfulness. Heaven sings and the sun beams it’s warm rays proudly, upon those who display gratitude.

When we ask for caring and wholesomeness to be sent out to another,…… we are calling this forth from the highest place of goodness.

The connection that is formed when we send out our heartfelt intent to another,….allows a momentary, mental, shared experience with another spirit.

Something as simple as a smile, can change the entire course of someones’ day. Even hardships can be looked upon as a spiritual lesson. When we graciously get through the specific difficulty facing us, we can arrive on the other side of it, having learned a invaluable lesson.

Spreading prosperity and well-being through our grateful blessings,…. is very natural because that is the energy that arises from our spiritual being.

The entirety of the cosmos wants you to be bathed in the brilliant love of blessings. The more we show tremendous gratitude, for what we receive,…….. the more blessings are rained upon us.

There is nothing arduous about adding blessings to your daily meditations and spiritual routine. Each day is brimming with occasions to send out your precious mental and emotional gift to others.

Sending blessings is so very natural and simple that we forget how grand of an outcome this momentary gesture can create.

LIFE ITSELF IS EXPANDED as these sentiments and thoughts work THROUGH us,…… and are sent out into the world.

Every single faith upon the planet has tried since the beginning of time, to teach humans the art of projecting out blessings.

The instant that a blessing is sent out,…. it becomes a holy twinkling in time, filled with the highest of energy.

As we walk upon this earth we are charged with the daydreams, passions and heartfelt wishes of those who prayed in the past. It may be hard to understand the cycle but,........ each of us represents the expressed HOPE, of those who came before us.

So try to never let a day pass you by, where you do not call upon the most highest of energies and bestow it upon someone you see is in need. From friends, to family members,…..to those who you pass on the street. The puppy that is in need of a loving home,….to the once beautiful plant calling out for care,….all are opportunities to send your loving intent.

Each time you bless something or someone you are expanding love in our world,….. and of course you must know how much that is needed right now.

To each and every person who reads this now,... I sent you a heartfelt wave of blessings, for every good thing to come into your life.


Keep love alive in your heart,….. be thankful each day for what you have and expand our world by bestowing upon others,

Special note: We are in a dire time right now,...and we need to come together as a people on this planet and fill the ether with positive vibrations. As light workers, star seeds, truth speakers, and whistle blowers come forward, it is changing what many once knew of the world.

Storms Rising

The storms of nature.

Waters begin to rise as the storms increase.

I know a lot of things have your attention right now, as we struggle through each day, trying to stay emotionally level while being in a state of preparedness for what may be around the corner.

This segment is going to be very brief, but before I warn you, I want to remind you once again of the importance of your energy. Your pure focused intent, can dramatically change any foretold outcome.

With the many of us working together, with our mental and emotional energy connected, we can create the reality we wish to see on this earth. I know I repeat this often, however due to the conditioning that people have been inundated with, many still do not understand this concept. It is too different from what they have been taught to believe is true. However,....this is how the universe operates.

With that said,….more severe storms are indeed coming.
The rains are going to begin, that will swell the rivers, cutting them deeper into the earth, and flooding farmlands across many areas.

Coastal regions are going to be hit with furious hurricanes.

The rising storms of war.

As people try to remove the horrible images of high tech fighting from their minds, the battles nevertheless still continue. The contending may take brief interludes but it is only to regroup and strategize some more.

The horribly depressing thought of war expanding further and escalating into wild scales, is triggering more and more light workers to awaken now.

This is a precarious time line,....as the overwhelming populous of the world desires harmony,....while war agendas continue to stealthly unfold their plan.

Much turmoil in the coming months,......the energy runs very high, so let's focus our intendment for earth in a positive direction.

So,.... this short segment, is just to prepare you for the variety of storms that lie ahead. If you live in a coastal area, know that the storms are going to increase in intensity. For those who live along a river, I’m sure you know by now how to prepare for flood waters.

Please do not forget your pets, when laying out your emergency plans.

Stay calm, and keep yourself centered and grounded to the earth. Use the magnitude of your mind to imagine an earth, that is beautiful, peaceful, abundant, free, harmonious, with tremendous love and compassion for every being upon our planet. With the emotion in your heart, extend that love and compassion out to the dear animal kingdom and the entirety of our living earth.

Always remember, nothing is engraved in stone. We have the ability to choose any timeline, or reality we want. So,... even though these storms are being foreseen, you must never forget your power.

It fell over an area North of Amarillo Texas, and people can't stop talking about the ultra extreme measure of this storm.

On The Edge Of Death Ghost Town Of Cairo Illinois

Cairo, Illinois

Cairo, Illinois, once a vibrantly healthy and thriving city found nestled at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers, has died a very public, painful and slow death. It now resembles nothing less than a living nightmare.

 Words do not seem adequate to be able to describe to you what you will see, if you ever end up driving through this part of Southern Illinois. The feelings of doom and gloom begins to wash over you as you look out your car window and see vacant building after vacant building, boarded-up windows, dead vegetation, broken signs, and cobwebs over doorways left slightly ajar.

The city has seen its share of prosperity as a busy and bustling port in its heyday, boasting a population of well over 15,000 people. Today the number of people who still reside here is somewhere over the 2,000+ marker. Steadily dropping in breathing humans, the last official count was back in 2010, where the Census Bureau put the total at 2,831.


Containing uniqueness, importance, and rarity,.. numerous buildings have been listed on the national register of historic places. These structures are like beautiful flowers, and they remain lovingly maintained, amidst the rest of the weed filled garden, of Cairo.

 Extremely important in the growth of our country it was a strong hold during the Civil War, where steamboat traffic and it's strategic location made it a rising star. Designated as a delivery port by an act of Congress in 1854, some of the old time beauty still remains in this living ghost town. Actually, it is more like a zombie town, being partially alive, but mostly dead.


 As your car winds through the bleak nothingness of abandonment you will inevitably stumble upon the few remaining jewels, left untouched by time, in this doomed city. Mansions such as Magnolia Manor built in 1865, still proudly stand with all of it's glory and allurement intact. Directly across the street is the public library, which is richly done in the Queen Anne style architecture.

 Bits of antique sparkling color can be found here and there as some stained-glass windows remain intact. The post office was actually designed by Alfred Mullet and is one of a handful of remaining Victorian buildings created by this gifted artist, that still remain standing in our nation today.

With car doors firmly locked you will see other people staring out their vehicle windows wearing an expression of horror, as they absorb their surroundings.  If you are brave enough to meander the desolate roadways through town, the stark contrast of vibrant beauty you will see in certain well tended to areas and bleak nothingness strikes at the heart.

 It makes you wonder,... what could have possibly happened to create this shattered town?

As we peer back into the past, you'll soon find out,.. that there were many factors that led to its demise. The most outstanding being racial tensions.
 It began with modernization and change bringing to the area much needed bridges. They were built across the Mississippi and another to span the Ohio. This resulted in many drastic changes as to how product was handled and moved. Sadly much of the ferry employment including railroad traffic drastically declined, in a relatively short period of time and volumes of people lost their jobs.


 A tragic recipe was created through lack of income, high feelings of depression as people struggled with poverty,... and the historically important time period of the 1960s.

This is when the United States found itself dead smack in the center of the civil rights movement. It all came to a massive boiling point when Robert Hunt, a young man of just 19 years, was found hanging by his t-shirt wrapped around his neck, inside of the police station.

 The police insisted that he must have hung himself and documented this on the police report. The black community didn't buy it. After suffering many long years of hard indignities and injustices, they firmly believed the police were guilty of murdering that young man.

Having had enough,.... rage and anger flared. The riots and pent up outrage soon followed. What took place in Cairo was also taking place around the nation, as these outbursts were part of a larger wave demanding change. 

In the summer of 1967 people filled with years of resentment over their treatment, lashed out against an outrageously tilted and corrupt system.
 The down trodden whom justice overlooked for so long, took to the streets in mass, where windows were broken,... doors kicked in,... warehouses and stores burned to the ground.

Enough was enough, change was going to come,.....either through compromise or destruction.

A list of demands were made by the black community that police brutality MUST STOP immediately and that new job opportunities for their people should be presented.

(It is heart breaking to think that things had to get to such a shocking point. NO human is better than or more deserving than another human being. We are a family on this planet, and we are all loved the same in the eyes of the Prime Creator. Loving one another, and having true concern for when another being is in need, is the only way to live in this world. Anything other than freedom and equality, will always end in demise.)

 The city leaders tried to come up with a plan to stop any further destruction, as the pain and outrage continued in the streets. The white community further incensed over loss of their property, combined with the fact that they had been raised with a sense of entitlement, formed  a group known as 'The Citizens Protection Group',... and it was officially deputized by the local sheriff.

This new group would later refer to themselves as 'The White Hats.'

Hundreds of members wearing white construction hats, began patrolling the streets of Cairo. Immediately, fierce clashes ensued. The black community,... the local NAACP, got together and formed 'Cairo United Front'.

Steadily escalating, as sides were clearly established, the violence hit a crescendo in the year 1969, which led to the deployment of the National Guard.

 All white owned businesses were boycotted by the black community, which had an impact on every business in town. On December 6th., people residing in an area called 'Permit Courts Housing Project' opened fire on three firemen and the chief of police while they were out responding to one of the numerous fires.

The picketing continued and the city responded by trying to pass ordinances which would ban demonstrating within 20 feet of any business in town.

Feeling their rights as human beings were being violated, the United Front called upon their people for another rally. Unfaltered they picked up their signs and continue to demonstrate, despite previous ordinances that were passed.

Trying to ban people from expressing their viewpoints resulted in more violence and inevitably landed the matter into federal court. The court,.. of course ruled on the side of her constitution and the mayor's decision was proclaimed unconstitutional and quickly overturned.


In 1969 Gov. Simon along with a committee appointed by Illinois House of Representatives looked into the massive problems occurring in Cairo. The Gen. assembly made a demand that the White Hats immediately disband.

It was determined that racial integration and civil rights laws would be applied to all city and county departments. (When you stand up as a people, united,...and demand change for your sovereign rights,.... as human beings,...it will always come. The key is united. People must be joined in their hearts and minds.)

Sadly,.... human relations were firmly torn apart. Many white residents continued to assemble together and hold meetings in public parks, speaking out roaringly against any type of integration and civil rights laws, while the African-Americans who had been so shoddily treated for so long, continued to hold civil rights rallies, most of the time in the bosom of their church.


Businesses exhausted by the boycott and constant picketing decided to close up shop, as they saw no end in sight. The racial problem had everyone standing firmly on one or another side. It truly was a city divided.
Families and business owners slowly began the process of moving out of the city in a never-ending wave.

 Much needed traffic continued to bypass this now doomed city with the opening of the Mississippi River bridge. The restaurants and hotels which relied on that draw of humanity, also shriveled up and  died.
As the population continue to dwindle off, the many larger institutions like the city hospital, also closed it's doors in 1987.

Now,... this once fascinating, exciting, strategic location in the United States,.... surrounded by so much energy and water is now mostly known for being a speed trap on Interstate 57. If caught, I have heard the fines are extremely high. Everyone that surrounds this area has figured out, that this is how the town makes up most of its revenue.

Crippling unemployment, businesses beating a steady path to leave, resulted in those who remained behind,.... being immersed in waves of crime.
The predator/ prey mentality being the only means left, when lawful ways to make a living, have been exhausted.

 With maybe 900 families remaining, more than 33% of those are below the poverty line.

With a city that has seen thousands of soldiers encamped upon her shore lines in a war that ripped our nation apart, and suffered through so much emotional shock during the Civil Rights movement,.. is it any wonder that claims of ghosts are being heard all over the Internet, by the new generation? 

During the Civil War this proud city was a very important supply base and was also used for training of the Union Army. Headquarters were set up in town for the infamous General Grant.
Considered extremely valuable for Army and Naval bases,  both the Confederacy and Union recognized how necessary such a position could be and they launched battle for control over the Mississippi River.
 (That segment of Cairo's history could take up a book in it's self.)

What else could create the terror and melancholy in the atmosphere needed to create a ghostly situation?

 Fatal accidents.

With the jostling and bustling of ferries on this waterway town, came the numerous shipping incidents that led to fatalities, as workers hustled to move more than a quarter of a million railroad cars. These cars would be hauled across the river in brief periods of time by an army of strong and determined workers.

You must remember, this is a point in our countries history where the safety of employees was not always at its highest of standards. Human life simply wasn't as valued as it is today.

As I surf the Internet to find people's ghostly experiences in town, I found out that many people had them, simply by looking out the window of their car, as they drive past all the endless blight.

 Driving slowly (so as to not get a ticket) people stared into the broken, decrepit windows and doorways of the remaining buildings. Reports include ghostly faces, staring with hollow eyes, behind the shards of broken glass.

As passer-bys continued to stare at these otherworldly phantoms, they quickly realized,..... you could see right through them!

Other accounts are of shadows passing by the opening of a building. The dark form takes the shape of a head and shoulders staring out and where eyes should be, are sometimes glowing orbs of red, while tattered curtains ruffle in the breeze.

 Buildings that seem to be the most talked about when it comes to hauntings include,.... the old closed down hospital. Bemoaned voices of spirits who remain, walk the echoing halls. Human shaped forms ranging in sizes of up to 6 foot, appear in umbrage, darting in and out of the hallways. The sound of phantom feet can be clearly heard as the dead pace back and forth.

 Whispers in town are that the library and Customs House are also haunted with a resident ghost.
 Librarians passed gave many accounts as to what transpired as they worked their day, inside the old building. Books moving on their own, papers lightly shuffling with no apparent breeze, chairs moving, the sound of feet walking up and down the stairway. When those present rush to see who is there,.... no one is ever found.

Next on the haunting list of Cairo, is the story of a very young child, who is said to be haunting one of the remaining jewels in town, known as the beautiful Magnolia Manor.

Fort Defiance State Park

We continue with the ghosts of Cairo, by moving outside to Defiance Park. As we discussed above, General Grant commanded Fort Defiance which was located right near the confluence of Ohio and Mississippi River. The confluence has since moved a little further south and now the site is a city park between the two river bridges. However back in 1861,... 12,000 Union troops were stationed in this most southern end of Illinois.
Taking a digital recorder, questions asked into the ether, sometimes receive spooky and otherworldly answers.


Another famous and reportedly haunted building in this shell of a city, is the Gem Theater. Built in 1910, it suffered a tragic fire and was rebuilt, only to later suffer greatly during the the city's racial war,... before finally closing down in the year 1978. People visiting the area have said they heard sounds coming from inside the building, despite the fact that it's boarded-up and houses no living soul. 

 Distant echoes of hearty laughter has been recorded emanating from the theater, were so many people were once joyfully entertained.


This is something you are bound to find out when you go to the city of Cairo. Even though it is named after the Egyptian city of Cairo the locals pronounce the name 'K-ROW'.
As people from outside the region, question the pronunciation, they quickly come to the conclusion it's because of the southern drawl, that the name is pronounced in such a way.
There are many locals who don't realize that Cairo was in absolute fact, named after the same city in Egypt, and insist that it must be a  separate name with a separate pronunciation.

How did it come to be named after a city in,.... Egypt? Well, it was relatively common for the time period, when amplifying these areas, to name the location after long standing and famous civilizations. Such names including Thebes, Lebanon, New Athens, Sparta, Alexander, and even Memphis, Tennessee,.... which is also named after another consequential city in Egypt. The grandiose titles of these locations (which is the greatest of all compliments) gained the region the name Little Egypt.

Final twitches of death

In it's final death throws, Cairo became so desolate as people continued to leave, that even the children who were graduating from Cairo high school, were told by their principal to leave town.


 A city that was once designed to take care of 20,000+ people,.... is now a wounded, broken, shell of it's self, that leaves shivers down your spine as you slowly cruise along its roadways.

People from around the region talk of days gone by, where they took weekend trips into Cairo, to enjoy a good dinner and shop downtown.  Boasting of the many choices one had when there,... such as,.. department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, hotels, shoe stores, photography studios, dealerships, multitudes of gas stations, more than 40 grocery stores. You could even watch speed boats race by, as one of the volumes of scheduled entertainment, in the park along the shoreline.

 People who now make the trip into Cairo, say they roll up their windows, lock their doors, and some even admit they utter a prayer before crossing into it's borders. The very energy in the air is rife and thick with static and discord of decades past.

As the tires of your car slowly go in and out of the streets of this town, you are faced with the bones and the death of the city that is still standing but almost completely broken in a hopeless environment. Even though it is frightening to look upon, you can't help but stare at it. Some folks find it adventurous and fascinating as they explore the strange emptiness of the many buildings.

There are bound to be scars, and ghosts that wander when a city such as this, is marked by the travesty of war, unjustified lynchings, turmoil that results in more than 150 nights of gunfire, the fire bombing of businesses and the broken spirits of the many families filing for bankruptcy. Dispare in this town is so palpable and devastating you can feel it as soon as you cross into it.


 All you need to do is surf the Internet to read the many accounts of people's experiences while living in or drifting through this town. The low vibratory realms of bleakness and lost hope, open a portal to attract energies of the same. So,… It is no wonder that people are hearing spirit voices speak and seeing shadows pass by open doorways.

If you decide to drive through this town, prepare yourself beforehand for a wave of uneasiness, hopelessness and dread that will most likely rise within you, as fingers fear tickle up your spine. Cairo, Illinois is indeed a barely breathing ghost town.
